I like a beer and I prefer to consume it in a fine premise. I
like an historic pub and there are very many fine buildings in the
UK, see CAMRA's Heritage hub website.
All credit to Wetherspoons company to create bars in buildings
that would most probably be still left derelict or even
demolished.
Of those buildings There are a good number of Wetherspoons in
buildings that were cinemas.
My local in Forest Hill was one such premise, alas now closed by
Wetherspoons.
So this has started a little sideline for me to visit every
Wetherspoons but that was an ex cinema.
I’m not a film buff nor a Superfan, but just when I have a bit of
time, it is my objective to go and visit.
All photographs are by author I White - Mainly snapshots rather
than taking formal Photographs ( perhaps one day be invited to do
formal photographs). Go and visit yourself !
Highlighted Town names are a link to that entry on the
Wetherspoons website
A number of "spoons" are high street conversions of
standard shops, however there are other fine buildings that
Wetherspoons have lovingly converted to places of refreshment,
that are worthy of mention.
